Installation Guide
Please follow these installation instructions carefully to ensure the ElvUI xScarlifeUI works correctly with the DPS/Tank profile.
This healer profile is specifically designed to be used when switching to a healer specialization in World of Warcraft Retail.
Step 1: Go in-game and type /ec in your chat. In the left menu, click on Profiles, then select “Import”.
Copy the “Main ElvUI (Healer)” import string from this page and paste it into the first box. Click “Import“.
Step 2: Click on “Profile” in the top menu bar and make sure the imported healer profile named “xScarlife-Healer” is assigned to your healer specialization. In the example below, the “xScarlife-Healer” profile is assigned to both Discipline and Holy for the Priest, while the main “xScarlife” profile is assigned to Shadow as the DPS layout. This ensures that your layout automatically switches when you change specializations.
⚠️ Make sure the “Enable Spec Profiles” option is enabled.
Step 3: Copy the “Blizzard Edit Mode (Healer)” profile from this page. Go in-game and open the “Blizzard Edit Mode”. Click the dropdown menu at the top and select “Import”. Paste the healer layout string and give it a proper name, for example, “xScarlife – Healer.”
⚠️ Very important: make sure to enable “Character Specific Layout” before clicking “Import”.
Step 4: Copy the “Cooldown Manager Centered (Healer)” profile from this page. Open the Cooldown Manager Centered options menu in-game and click Import. After importing, make sure the active profile is set to “xScarlife-Healer.”
Step 5: Copy the “Sensei Class Resource Bar (Healer)” profile from this page. Open the “Sensei Class Resource Bar” options in-game and click “Import”.
Step 6: Copy the “BigWigs (Healer)” profile from this page. Go in-game and open the BigWigs options by typing /bigwigs. Navigate to Profiles and click Import, then paste the profile string. After importing, go to Profiles in the top menu and make sure “Enable Spec Profiles” is enabled.
Assign “xScarlife – Healer” to your healer specialization. In this example, both Discipline and Holy use “xScarlife – Healer”, while Shadow (DPS) uses the main “xScarlife” profile. This ensures that the BigWigs layout automatically switches when you change specializations.
About Cooldown Manager Profiles
I have always used Luxthos WeakAuras in the past. However, since WeakAuras are no longer supported in Midnight, I’ve switched to using his Blizzard Cooldown Manager profiles instead. These profiles are carefully crafted and can be imported directly via this link.
Simply copy the profile for the correct spec, open the Blizzard Cooldown Settings menu in-game, and select Import from the dropdown menu. Paste the string and give it a clear name, such as “Fury Warrior”. Once imported, open the dropdown menu again and select the imported profile for Essential Cooldowns, Utility Cooldowns, and Tracked Buffs to load the profile correctly.
